Basic Blacksmith Tools
We all know the old AXIOM, "if you use junk, you make junk". Not true with blacksmithing. You would be surprised by what you can make from an OLD LAWN MOWER. I would rather use it here then to sell it to a scrap yard, just to be sent back to CHINA, so i could buy it again.
Thats supposed to be a "DOG" however it was made by accident with no planning, apperently a chunk of brass fell into my coal bin, and when I added more coal, it got added, and melted all over everything. Froze it all up you might say. Well I dug out all the pieces and this was in there. I thought it was cool, so I kept it. All I did to this was brush it off, you can still see coal in the tail end.  TRUE STORY.
I think I made this fork from a 10 inch drop of 1/2 x 1/2 inch key stock.
